CIRA elections are coming and I’m hoping to make a difference

CIRA

The CIRA elections are once again upon us I’ve done a lot of thinking about how I can help the organization over the past few years but to date have not put any of those thoughts to action.

Last night I decided I would no longer watch from the sidelines and submitted my formal nomination statement to CIRA. It’s my first step toward making a difference at one of Canada’s  important Internet resources.

As a CIRA member myself, I was always interested in learning as much about potential candidates during the elections as possible and now that I am a nominee candidate, I’ve included a summary of my professional experience in PDF format.

If you are unable to view PDF documents, let me know and I will provide you with this document in a format of your choice. You can also view my public profile on LinkedIn.

Thanks to those who have supported me with my decision to run for in this election and for supporting the Canadian Internet Registration Authority, I hope to have this space updated with more information and resources as the election progresses.

Do you have your own dotCA domain name yet?

Important dates to remember:

August 19 – September 2, 2008:

September 9, 2008:
